Nouveaux regards sur l'art imprimé – New perspectives on printmaking

Collective exhibit

An invitation to discover four young Québec artists and one American artist: Ann Karine Bourdeau Leduc, Cara Déry, Éloïse Plamondon Pagé, Joani Tremblay and Diana Behl. Through their work, these artists renew the methods of printmaking, from the point of view of aesthetic language, materials, the dimensions of the works and the issues they question.

Discussion with the public about the Sueurs froides exhibit and the artist’s vision of printmaking in connection with his work, which explores digital drawing, collage and animation.

Exhibit-sale in the Magasin space

Developed around the theme, “As in bed”, the project presented in Arprim’s store space, called Le Magasin, brings together a variety of printed works, from artists’ books to photocopied zines.

Presentation by multidisciplinary artist Annie Conceicao-Rivet. The topic is digital printing: the steps involved in the creation of an inkjet-printed image. Demonstration of the possibilities of technical hybridization in the construction of an image, linking traditional processes with digital printing.
